We are looking for a passionate Christian educator to help shape our middle school students to be confident, capable, Christian leaders through science instruction. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
Join our close-knit family, where passion for teaching and learning intertwines with Christian values to provide a nurturing environment for students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who are committed to shaping young minds in a faith-centered educational setting.
Responsibilities
Deliver Dynamic Lessons
Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that integrate Christian principles into the curriculum, fostering both academic and spiritual growth.
Nurture Individual Growth
Recognize and support the unique talents and needs of each student, providing personalized attention and encouragement to help them reach their full potential.
Foster a Faith-Centered Environment
Infuse Christian values into daily activities and interactions, guiding students in their spiritual journey and helping them develop a strong foundation of faith.
Collaborate with Colleagues
Work closely with fellow teachers, administrators, and staff to cultivate a cohesive and supportive educational community, where collaboration and teamwork are valued.
Engage with Parents and Guardians
Establish open lines of communication with families, providing regular updates on student progress and actively involving parents in their child’s education and spiritual development.
Participate in School Events
Contribute to the vibrant school community by participating in extracurricular activities, events, and programs that enrich the educational experience and strengthen the bond between students, families, and staff. The middle school science teacher also organizes and facilitates an 8th grade trip to Lutherock in North Carolina each year.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Valid teaching certification or letter of eligibility
Strong commitment to Christian values and principles
Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
Prior teaching experience
Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to differentiate instruction
Dedication to ongoing professional development and growth
Pass a level 2 background check and drug screening
