Position: Kindergarten Teacher

Overview

Kendall Christian School (KCS) is seeking a passionate and qualified Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Our school provides strong instruction in core academics combined with a project-based learning approach that encourages critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

The elementary teacher plays a vital role in preparing students for meaningful lives by supporting their academic, social, and spiritual development.

The Kindergarten Teacher provides a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment while supporting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of young students.

Responsibilities
·         Plan and teach age-appropriate lessons in reading, writing, math, and other foundational subjects.

·         Integrate Christian values, Bible stories, and prayer into daily classroom activities.

·         Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.

·         Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

·         Encourage students’ social, emotional, and spiritual development.

·         Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development.

Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (preferred).

·         Experience working with young children.

·         Commitment to Christian faith and values.

·         Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Position Type, Salary Range and Benefits Info:

Full Time Position

10 Month Position (August – May)

70% of employee health care cost is paid by the employer.

Up to 5% matched annually towards retirement fund.

50% reduction in tuition for children of KCS employees.
