Position Overview:
Kendall Christian School is seeking to hire a highly qualified Preschool Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This 10-month position will be fostering a positive school climate, and enhancing the educational experience for students. The ideal candidate is passionate about education and committed to upholding the values and mission of our Christian community.
Job Requirements:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood learning standards
Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports curiosity and exploration
Support children’s social, emotional, language, and motor skill development
Experience planning and developing curriculum
Demonstrate a mature personal Christian faith consistent with Kendall Christian School’s Statement of Faith, active Church member, and exhibiting a close personal walk with Jesus Christ.
Encourage positive behavior, cooperation, and independence in young learners
Ability to maintain an appropriate work/life balance.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Possess solid communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills.
Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times
Follow school policies, health and safety regulations, and child protection guidelines
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support classroom and school-wide goals
Position Type, Salary Range and Benefits Info:
Full-Time Position
10-Month Position (August-May)
80% of employee health care costs are paid by the employer
Up to 5% matched annually toward a retirement fund
50% reduction in tuition for children of KCS employees
Supplemental summer employment is available
