Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and faith-centered Preschool Teacher to join our PCA community. The ideal candidate will create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment where young children grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are looking for someone who feels called to serve in a Christ-centered environment and is excited to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a structured, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
Develop and implement weekly lesson plans with developmentally appropriate activities
Support children’s spiritual growth through Christ-centered teaching and modeling
Observe, assess, and document student development
Communicate consistently, effectively, and professionally with families
Demonstrate Christ-like character in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications

Active member of a faith-based church community
Experience in early childhood education (preferred)
CDA credential or higher degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
Strong classroom management skills using age-appropriate guidance strategies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A genuine love for young children and a passion for early childhood education
