The King’s Academy, a private Christian school is seeking an experienced, innovative, and versatile IT Specialist to complement our current technology team. The person God calls to our school will be responsible for various aspects of TKA’s technology infrastructure. This position requires a strategic thinker who can provide technology support, identify solutions and forecast needs.

Specific Job Description

The successful candidate will possess the ability to provide technology support and will be proficient with Active Directory. In addition, experience with audiovisual production, Firewalls, Office 365 products, Windows Server and Windows 10 & 11 is expected. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. The successful candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience serving in a technology related position. The staff member will ascribe to and perform all duties in accordance with The King’s Academy’s Statement of Faith and Employee Role Model Standards.

5. Models a thoughtful, balanced, Biblically-focused lifestyle.
Attends church regularly and devotes self to personal spiritual growth. Articulates a growing and vibrant faith and models a Biblically-aligned professional and personal lifestyle.

6. Projects a positive, Christ-like attitude.
Desires to be the light of Christ through our words and deeds (Matthew 5:16). Conversations within TKA
community are constructive and edifying.

7. Embraces ownership of TKA through active contribution to school growth and improvement.
Demonstrates a passion for TKA by being public ambassador and advocate. Understands that the profession is a calling, not a job, and puts forth extra effort by engaging in school growth and improvement.

Expected Education, Competencies and Experience:
• Professes a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Holds a bachelor’s degree within field.
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Highly Organized and proficient in technology and Learning Management Systems, i.e. Canvas
• Innovative and flexible
• Ability to build relationships and consensus
• Must be able to lift and/or move 25 pounds
• Employee is frequently required to sit, lift, carry, move about classroom and campus, hear and speak while
performing the duties of this job
• Will be required to perform extensive work at a computer display terminal
