As an Elementary Teacher, you will help lay a strong foundation for each child’s spiritual, academic, and social growth. Guided by our mission to develop lifelong learners and equip students to reach their full potential, you will integrate Biblical truth into instruction, use engaging and flexible teaching methods, and partner with parents to nurture students in a Christ-centered environment where they grow in character, confidence, and faith.

You will be responsible for:
Create and maintain a safe, caring, and Christ-honoring classroom environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and Bible instruction.
Plan and implement a Florida standards-based curriculum aligned with FLDOE Content Standards.
Integrate Biblical truth into daily instruction and model a Christ-like example for students.
Foster social, emotional, and spiritual development through structured activities.
Assess student progress through observation, classwork, and formal assessments; provide regular feedback to parents.
Utilize a collaborative teaching model and personalized learning strategies to meet students’ individual needs.
Communicate effectively and consistently with parents regarding student growth, classroom activities, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
Organize and participate in co-curricular activities, special events, awards programs, and field trips.
Participate in staff devotions, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Demonstrate a growth mindset, embracing feedback and new challenges with enthusiasm.
Uphold school policies, procedures, and values in alignment with the mission of the school.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
Valid teaching certification (state and/or ACSI certification preferred).
Prior teaching experience in early childhood or elementary grades preferred.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Passion for Christian education and a commitment to nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening (required).
