We were able to put together a version that uses the goals-oriented approach like what CCA uses in conjunction with the Ohio Principal Standards. We’re in the final draft of it. I really like keeping the metrics goals-oriented. Spending time trying to rate principals on whether or not they show up on time, etc. is useless. For the non-instructional staff, we use a generic version that is used for all our school and church employees that is more basic in approach (ie. dress code, handbook compliance, communication, etc.)

We use the i-Ready assessment for K-8 prospective students.
We are wanting to add a writing component. Does anyone have any feedback or thoughts on whether this is done in schools? We’re thinking a written essay to assess writing skills, abilities, etc.

I will confirm with our enrollment team, but I believe we purchase a certain number of student licenses and we have to create a new account for each prospective student. The good thing is if we accept the student, the license is then used during the school year. We build the cost for this into the application/testing fee.
