Hi Lori,
I will email it directly to you instead of posting it here.

Andrew,
I am sharing what Kathryn Nguyen, our Director of Library & Technology Integration, had to share in response to his question.
AI use falls under our existing Academic Integrity Policy. We have taken a more broad, proactive approach to AI with our AI Position Statement rather than a policy for students. It’s less “do not use AI” and more “use AI with integrity”. Our Enterprise Edition of MagicSchool also provides AI literacy training for teachers and students. This program allows students to learn to use AI in a safe, legal, monitored environment. We have not found a foolproof “AI Detector”, therefore teachers are still relying on plagiarism checkers to identify content that has been directly copied and knowledge of students to determine if their writing is authentic. We do have an AI Policy for Teachers to help guide them as we continue to grow in our knowledge of this rapidly changing landscape.
I’ve attached these documents. Let me know if you need anything else.

We’re currently working with Generis and are happy with them. I also hear good things about the Timothy Group.

I’ll email you a copy of the one we use.

Kindergarten and 1st-grade
We entrance test every K and 1st-grade student. We use the Dial-4 test for them. To ensure incoming students do not see the test prior to testing with us, we are very careful to make sure parents do not know which test we use.
2nd Grade and up through 9th-grade
We accept nationally normed standardized tests that the parents may have for their students. If they do not have any tests to submit for them, we will administer the IOWA test.

Easing of Land Use and Zoning RestrictionsThis could be a big help since so many students are exiting the public schools and seeking Christian education. Let’s all be praying about how we can open new spaces for students on our existing campuses or by opening new campuses.
