Secondary Math Teacher (9th- 12th)

Position Overview
Colonial Christian School, a FACCS fully accredited school, is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Secondary Math Teacher to join our dedicated team

Responsibilities
·      Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards

·      Teach middle school students (grades 9–12) a range of mathematical topics including arithmetic, pre-algebra, and introductory algebra

·      Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects

·      Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

·      Maintain a structured, respectful, and positive classroom environment

·      Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance student learning

·      Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs

·      Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration

·      Uphold and model Christian values in all interactions

Qualifications
·      A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

·      Highly developed oral & written communication skills

·      Ability to build relationships effectively & professionally with families & students

·      Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, standing, & moving throughout the classroom

·      Active member of their church
