Job description: Elementary School Teacher

Pay: $46,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Minimum Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field

● Hold a Florida Teaching Certificate or a Teaching Certificate from another state.

● Have a minimum of three (3) years successful elementary teaching experience

● Display strong communication skills (written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in elementary education

Successful teaching at a private school or a Christian school

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Head of School, the Teacher will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in our small class using the approved curriculum and the Florida State Standards. The teacher will also plan small groups that focus on student individual needs during our WIN group time (What I Need).

Essential Job Skills:

● Supervise students in a variety of school settings

● Demonstrate excellent classroom management

● Teach content and skills utilizing the Florida Performance Standards

● Evaluate and assess student progress based on data analysis

·       Modify instructional plans to meet individual student needs

● Demonstrate knowledge of educational research, trends, and best practices

●  Be active in staff meetings and a reflective practitioner, positive role model, and

team player

● Be a reliable encouraging communicator with students, parents, and staff

● Faith must be an important part of your life
