AFTER CARE ASSISTANT

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job description: AFTERCARE

Miami Shores Presbyterian Church School (MSPCS) provides an aftercare program to our students. Our program runs from 3:00 – 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. Aftercare will be at the Preschool or Elementary. We have availability in both schools.

This is a wonderful job for college students who are going to be going into education or for someone who is retired and is looking for a few hours a day, or just someone who would like a few hours of work a day.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Experience with school age children
● Behavior management experience
● Experience with school age children

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Head of School or Director, the Aftercare Employee will plan and provide appropriate learning and after school experiences for students.

Essential Job Requirements:

● Supervise students
● Be a positive role model, team player and flexible
● Demonstrate positive relationships with preschool children
● Positive behavior management and redirection
