We are seeking a passionate and relational leader to serve as our Director of Admissions. This role is about much more than managing applications. It is about creating meaningful connections, guiding families through an important decision, and helping them see what makes KCS unique.
The Director of Admissions is often the first point of contact for prospective families and plays a key role in shaping their experience. We are looking for someone who is warm, professional, organized, and confident in representing our school with excellence.
Job Requirements:
● Lead and implement a strategic admission plan to support enrollment goals
● Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families from inquiry through enrollment
● Plan and host tours, open houses, and admissions events that reflect the heart of KCS
● Build strong relationships with prospective and current families
● Oversee the full admissions process including applications and assessments.
● Works closely with the admission community
● Manage and utilize the school’s enrollment system effectively
● Track and analyze admissions data to improve results and processes
● Collaborate with leadership and marketing to strengthen outreach and communication
● Build relationships with feeder schools, churches, and community organizations
● Continuously evaluate and improve the admissions experience
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree required. Masters a plus.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish required
· A strong, active Christian faith and alignment with the mission of KCS
· Strong public speaking and presentation skills
· Warm, approachable, and relationship-driven
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Polished and professional in all interactions
· Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
· Experience with enrollment or admissions platforms is a plus
· Proficiency in tools such as Canva is highly valued
· Creative, innovative, and motivated to grow and strengthen the admissions program
· Experience working in a school setting is preferred
Position Type and Benefits Info:
· Full Time Position
· 12 Month Position (June – May)
· Two-week vacation period during the summer.
· 70% of employee health care cost is paid by the employer
· Up to 5% matched annually towards retirement fund
· Tuition in tuition for children of KCS employees
